I will remember John fondly for his sense of humor and playfulness. He kept his Class of 1970 schoolmates laughing and he had many friends. Blessed be his memory.

I spent all of high school sitting behind Jon Helgeson. He was funny, a pest, a friend. I remember him fondly.

Dearest Sue, Jen, Eric, Michael, and family,
Our hearts are breaking for all of you at this terrible loss. Jonny was a great guy, a fun cousin, and a real family man. We will miss him so much. Paul remembers that Jonny was a favorite of his dad, Kelly's. As a tot, Jonny would crawl up into Uncle Kelly's lap and search in his shirt pockets for treats, which Kelly never failed to provide. Blessed be Jonny' s memory. Our love to all of you.
