Curtis Femrite Obituary

Curtis Femrite died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Oakdale, MN at the age of 67.

Memorial services will be held in the fall of 2024 at Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson.

Curtis Wayne Femrite was born on August 4,1956 in Dawson, MN the son of Lester and Carol (Kravik) Femrite. He graduated from Dawson High School in 1974. Curt lived in several areas in the US, including Oregon & Hawaii. Due to his declining mental and physical health he returned to Minnesota (Andover, Willmar, Eden Prairie, Oakdale). The family would like to thank his caregivers for their care during the past years. Curtis was passionate about computers, gaming and shared his passion with others.

He is survived by his siblings: Dennis Femrite of Andover and Glenice (Tom) Jones of Champlin; his nieces and nephews: Deborah (Roger) Whiteoak, Amy (Steve) Granfors, Jennifer (Joe) Friell, Jon (Bambi) Kelley, Michael (Jennifer) Jones, Sarah (Joshua) Rodgers; several great nieces and nephews; many cousins, relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lester and Carol (Kravik) Femrite; his sister, Candice Kvaal; brother-in-law, Jerry Kvaal; niece, Katie Kvam; great-nephew, Zach DeJong; his aunts and uncles.
