Adeline Virgil Charlotte (Barry) Milbeck was born March 9, 1924 at Hector, MN the daughter of Gust and Edith (Peterson) Barry.  She was baptized November 24, 1925 and confirmed June 4, 1939 in Hector, MN.  Adeline graduated from Hector High School in 1942.  She met her husband, Edwin, at the roller skating rink in Renville.  Dad saw her across the rink and knew at that moment that she was the one for him.  They were united in marriage May 22, 1948 in Hector.  This marriage was blessed with four children: Kathy, Sharon, Connie, and Tim.  They lived and farmed in the communities of Granite Falls and Dawson.  She actively participated in working, planting, and harvesting the crops right beside Dad.  She was the most wonderful mom, wife, grandma, farmer, nurse, cook, referee, vet, and was beautiful inside and out.  For relaxation, mom loved watching the birds, reading, sewing, and riding around on her motorized scooter to enjoy her flowers and trees in her yard.  After Dad died on November 30, 2003, she continued to live on the farm until Sunday.

She is survived by her children: Kathleen Olesen of Brookfield, WI, Sharon (Dan) Bryan of Carthage, IL, Connie (Bill) Croatt of Madison, MN, and Tim (Suzanne) Milbeck of Dawson, MN; nine grandchildren: Michelle (Tom) Giese, Michael Olesen, Dana (Rob) Claseman, Christopher (Maria) Croatt, Brian (Emily) Croatt, Ashley (Michael) Wills, Brittany (Ross) Torgerson, Courtney (Ryan) Sinclair, and Kierstynn Milbeck; nine great-grandchildren: Makayla and Megan Giese, Danielle Olesen, Joshua and Brendan Claseman, Jenna and Jacob Croatt, Leah Croatt, and Cayson Wills; three sisters: Rosella Christiansen of Marshall, MN, Arlene Burgstahler of Hutchinson, MN, and Gloria Jakobitz of Stewart, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Edwin; a son-in-law, Owen Olesen; and three brothers-in-law: LeVoy Christiansen, Ned Burgstahler, and Bob Jakobitz.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She gave her love, support, and encouragement to everyone who walked through her life.  She lived her life to the fullest.  Her family and friends will treasure her memory always.
