Brian Anderson of Austin, MN died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in Austin at the age of 55.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Baxter. Rev. Lori Wold will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the church. Arrangements are with Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson.
Brian Arden Anderson was born on January 17, 1962 in Montevideo to Arden and Beverly (Moseng) Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Baxter. He attended first and second grade in Montevideo and finished his schooling in Dawson, graduating in 1980.
Brian was involved in a tragic accident in March of 1982, resulting in a brain injury which drastically changed his life. Even though he faced many challenges he always had a sharp memory, quick wit and ability to strike up conversations with anyone. His infectious laugh and one-liners brought joy and laughter to many. He had a love for fishing, camping, playing cards and his regular bible study.
Brian in survived by his parents, Arden and Bev Anderson; sisters: Vicki Anderson, Brooklyn Park and Lori Anderson, Austin TX; niece, Rachel Klaphake; nephews: Andrew Klaphake, Nicolas Knapper and Lukas Knapper.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Manford and Beulah Anderson and Henry and Josie Moseng; his brother, Todd Anderson in 2011, uncles: Arlen Anderson and Harlan Moseng; aunts: Janice Anderson and Carol Moseng.
