Timothy Ehlenz Obituary

Timothy Ehlenz, Dawson, died on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Sanford Worthington Medical Center in Worthington at the age of 49.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM at St. James Catholic Church in Dawson with Father Craig Timmerman officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at St. James Catholic Church in Dawson. 

Timothy James Ehlenz was born in Minneapolis on November 27, 1968 to James and Linda (Herzog) Ehlenz.  The family made their home in Dawson where Timothy attended school and graduated from Dawson - Boyd High School in 1986.  He attended the auto body program at Granite Falls Vo Tech.  He was united in marriage to Donata Lee Baumgartner on December 16, 2013 in Milbank, SD.  

Timothy worked for J& D Construction for over 10 years.  He was injured in a construction accident on September 15, 2008.  He enjoyed making his vehicles look unique.

Timothy is survived by his children: Amanda Grau, Maynard, MN, Andrea Grau, Windom, Devin Ehlenz, Dawson; two grandchildren; Aayla and Issac; father, Jim Ehlenz, Dawson; brother, Tony (Stephanie) Ehlenz, Wheaton, MN; step-children: Brandon Miller, Brittany (Zach) Schettler, Andrea Baumgartner, Marrisa Baumgartner; as well as extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donata in 2015; his mother Linda, and a brother, Peter.
