Brian Hyde of Granite Falls died Thursday, November 24, 2021 at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 60.

Private services will be held.

Brian David Hyde was born April 11, 1961 in Burke, SD to Hanford and Mary (Tinsley) Hyde. He grew up in Gregory, SD where he helped his family with their honeybee business. Brian attended and graduated from Gregory High School in 1979. He was united in marriage to Tamera Fischer on August 13, 1999 in Brookings, SD. They made their home in Sioux Falls, SD and later moved to Granite Falls, MN. Brian spent most of most of his life in the hospitality business working as a hotel clerk, most recently and Prairies Edge Casino. He loved his human and fur family dearly.

Brian was survived by his wife, Tamera “Tammy” of Granite Falls, MN; children, Stephanie, and Benjamin Hyde; father, Hanford Hyde; stepchildren, Tony, and Michael Cola; step-granddaughter, Aria; sisters, Barbara Deberg and Judy Walker; brother, Robert Hyde; seven cats and two dogs; and other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and brother William Hyde.
