Clarice (Wolford) Foss

Clarice Foss, formerly of Montevideo, passed away in Chandler, AZ at the age of 67.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Pastor Sam Kautz officiating.  There will be visitation for one hour before the service at the church.

Clarice Ann (Wolford) Foss was born August 19, 1956 in Crosby, MN to Clair and Evelyn (Wilson) Wolford.  In 1962, she and her family moved to Montevideo.  She was confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1974.  She enrolled in the radio and TV broadcasting program at Austin Vo Tech in Austin, MN.  She met Curtis Moravec, and they were married on July 19, 1975 in Lonsdale, MN.  Together they had one son, Michael Moravec.  They later divorced.  She met Byron Foss in 1984. They were married on June 27th, 1987.  They divorced in 2023.  Clarice worked various jobs in Montevideo through Heartland Industries.  

Clarice is survived her son, Michael (Nicole) of Rochester, MN; grandchildren: Dylan, Norah, Carly; sisters: Mary Jo Schoenike, Deerwood, MN, Becky (Steve) Ackerman, Brandon, SD; and nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clair and Evelyn Wolford and brother, David Wolford.
