Joan and family, we are so sorry for your loss and have you in our thoughts and prayers. Dennis and I were friends from first grade until graduation--and after, and he always held a very special place in my heart. I will miss seeing his smirk, and miss his teasing. Our deepest sympathy to you.

My condolences to the family. I remember Dennis as one of the best teachers in Dawson High School in the late 1960's...always positive and patient. I enjoyed going to his classes.

I was just speaking to a neighbor/friend of his about 2 weeks ago (who lives SW of Alex) and we were talking about how nice and brilliant Dennis was. I was shocked to see this week that he had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss!

My folks shared the news about Dennis' passing. I am so sad to hear this. One of my very favorite teachers - I'll never forget he brought me snow samples all the way from Big Sky, MT for my project. Your friendship with my folks has always been treasured and I know your support has been appreciated. The two "Mr. Olson's" we're kind of two peas in a pod! Blessed be his memory. Dear Olsons-- Denny was a favorite & respected teacher, my elementary school basketball coach and a good friend. He and my dad, Ken, also shared a great, ongoing friendship. I can see Denny and Ken, together up there in heaven, using their metal detectors in search of rare coins! --Roger Seeling
