I just enjoyed hearing Bill's comments, and agree, Oscar was special, When we lived across the street from one another, being the youngest in my own family, I kind of thought of Oscar (a few years younger than I was) as a pesky little brother. It was great to have someone younger than me to ignore. As the years went by, he really did behave like a kindly brother, who was there for us when we needed him, always ready with a laugh, and always sharing his affection, whether with a puzzle he created, or a sweet note on a card. RIP .

Oscar...I and the kitchen staff are sadden that you left us so soon...Thank you for the endless laughs on the phone and staff meeting...We will always remember you kidding us about forgetting to send something along in the cooler and you were going to paddle our behinds or when you would call and I would answer the phone I would say Oscar Oscar....We know now that your hitting that pink golf ball around in heaven that we gave you...Each time we pass the VFW in Dawson we will think of you eating your burgers...I am glad I was able to visit you at the hospital and the nursing home..Especially 2days before you passed.....Im glad to hear from 1 of the nurses at the nursing home about how much our P5 picture ment to you...I'm hoping you take that picture with you to heaven so you don't forget us...RIP OUR FRIEND..WE MISS YOU.....

I am so glad I was able to connect with Oscar at the care center the end of July. It was great that he was able to come to the Anderson picnic. My deepest sympathy.

Oscar was a good person. We spent many good times shooting hoops at his house. I also have good memories of us stacking bales in Dawson one summer. Sorry to hear of his passing.
